The suitable locality, as well as the availability of mineral springs (hypothermal, slightly mineralised wa-ter with a of 42°C, containing sodium, magnesium, sulphides), the combination of the basic natural factors – sun, sea, clear air and lush greenery – are favourable to the development of spa tourism. The two spa centres (in the Palace and Marina Hotels) offer more than 100 medical services: electro-therapy, inhalations, compresses with sea lye and herbs, treatment with curative mud from the Varna Lake containing biologically active substances, paraffin treatment, a variety of baths, curative massages, reflex & laser therapy; aroma-, oxygen-, thalassother-apy, acupuncture. Especially successful are our programmes for treating disorders of the locomotory and nervous systems, as well as cardiovascular and pulmonary disturbances. There are two indoor and one outdoor swimming pools at the Spa Centres.
Sunny Day is a favourite venue for business meetings and conventions. The 6 multipurpose conference halls (with seating capacity from 20 to 203) are equipped with all necessary technical facilities: direct and special lighting, stage, rostrum, film projection & acoustic facilities, overhead and slide projector, screen, photocopier, telephone, fax, Internet connection, poster boards, multimedia, simultaneous and consecutive translation facili-ties.
